Role: Design Director / Creative Direction

Collaboration: MOHO Kitchen Team

Scope: Creative Direction · Product Development

Challenge

Develop a kitchen with a strong contemporary identity inspired by modern Italian architecture without reducing the concept to a purely stylistic exercise.

Design Response

Planum uses warm wood to create continuity, precise graphic lines to establish rhythm, and a bold marble backsplash as a controlled focal element. The composition balances architectural character with practical everyday use.

Development

Developed in collaboration with the MOHO Kitchen team, the project translated the initial design language into a functional kitchen system, balancing materials, modular requirements, usability, and long-term relevance.

Outcome

A contemporary kitchen system where architectural character, functionality, and material expression work together within a coherent and durable design language.
