Challenge

Create a sofa with stronger visual impact and personality while keeping the expression controlled enough for contemporary residential environments.

Design Response

Verona was developed around generous sculptural volumes and deep channel stitching. Repetition across the upholstered surface creates depth and shifting shadows, transforming the upholstery itself into the defining design feature.

Development

The proportions, channel rhythm, and overall geometry were controlled to balance the sofa’s oversized character with a disciplined underlying structure.

Outcome

A bold upholstered sofa conceived as a focal product rather than a neutral background piece, introducing a more expressive direction into the MOHO living collection.
